ONSITE SUPPORT FOR SOFTWARE PROJECTS

Systems Implementations

Approach:
We support your systems implementation on-site at your premises. We support hardware, software, integrations, data migration, process identification/mapping staff training and process design.

Usually we will be onsite for 1 - 3 days a week during the initial phases of the project, ramping towards a go live which usually requires significant support for at least two weeks prior to, and post, system switch on/over... where we would be on site 14-16 hours per day 7 days a week.

We can and do work remotely during this period; however, it is often best to meet in person, train in person and physically watch processes being carried out.

We will visit all of your sites impacted by the project, we will train and support staff across the hierarchy in order to engage and facilitate a smooth transition.

...our significant experience with these systems and projects allows us to short cut many of the learning experiences, we are also able to ensure your systems project is a success.

Solutions/Processes:
As we are hardware/software and platform agnostic we are able to provide the least cost, best outcome solutions - recommending automation where it will save the most time.

"our aim is to solve the problems identified by client X...
this is as opposed to 'round peg, square hole' fitting client X processes into the system."

Negotiating and acquiring systems:
Despite our large partner network, we have (and maintain) a platform agnostic approach, turning down affiliate fees and referral fees. This means we are able to negotiate on your behalf - with a knowledge of the best prices we have seen elsewhere.

This also applies to hardware to be acquired.

...with most clients we are able to save significant double digit % from the hardware or software quotes they receive.

Our Team:

Our implementation team have held CFO, COO and CTO roles in organisations ranging in size from $1m to $5bn. We have big 4 accounting practice experience, in a number of roles/departments and extensive experience with Private Equity and Venture Capital.

Working with everything from Ecommerce, Point of Sale and Wholesale ordering systems through ERP, MRP and IMS to order fulfilment, accounting platforms and the variety of product control systems (PIM, PLM etc.).

We have implemented many modular systems, ERP's, accounting platforms, Point of Sale and Warehouse management systems. We keep up to date with current technology and are very familiar with available and required hardware to work in conjunction with your software.

Simple Pricing:

We price on 4 basis depending on the client need, budget and preferred cost management processes.

1: Retainer
We engage on a retainer basis and step in to become interim members of the project team. We are available 24-7 as the client/project requires. This applies for the duration of the client project (which is at the discretion of the client). This is usually the most cost effective mechanism for most clients - especially where there are peaks and troughs of activity and risk. It also allows us to unburden management of their project related tasks and allow BAU (business as usual) to continue.

...the retainer varies by the initial weekly commitment in days (dictated by project complexity), work type and location (s); however, typically, works out at £5,000 - £10,000 pcm for multi system projects and as low as £3,500 pcm for single system projects.

When under a retainer, all other client services are free (including our software, integrations, bespoke software and data science).

2: Fixed Price
Fixed project costs - we will give a price quote for a fixed project; this is subject to the client and third party providers meeting their obligations within the project.

...these vary significantly by project and as such are very difficult to define. Given a standard ERP implementation - in a single site business with a turnover of $25m the fixed price fee would be in the region of £45,000. Our lowest cost fixed price project was £2,500.

3: Day Rate
We usually recommend daily rather than hourly as we believe in doing the job - and if this overruns then part days would not be chargeable. We do discount this day rate if other services are being acquired.

...our un-discounted day rate is £800 - £1,200 depending on work type and location.

3: Hourly Rate

...our un-discounted hourly rate is £100p/h - £150p/h
